Tunisia’s Fares Ferjani Wins Silver in Men’s Individual Sabre at Paris 2024 Olympics

Tunisia’s Fares Ferjani earned the silver medal in the Men’s Individual Sabre event at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Saturday night. Ferjani, who had hoped to become Africa’s first gold medallist at these Games, was narrowly defeated by South Korea’s Oh Sanguk with a final score of 15-11 in the gold medal bout held at the Grand Palais in Paris.

This silver medal is the first medal for Arab nations at the Paris Olympics. The Games, which kicked off on Friday, will conclude on August 11.
