Egyptian fencer Mohamed Elsayed secured the bronze medal in the Men’s Epee Individual event at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Sunday. Elsayed triumphed over Hungary’s Tibor Andrasfi with a close score of 8-7 in the bronze medal bout held at the Grand Palais in Paris.
This achievement marks Egypt’s first medal at the Paris Olympics and the second for Arab nations, following Tunisia’s Fares Ferjani, who won silver in the Men’s Individual Sabre on Saturday.
